Many of my works express protest in artistic form: In my works “moving gestures 1,” I examine how gestures are used in media and political contexts and where decisive gestures are lacking (“moving gestures 2”). The sticker “Fragile Democracy” is a protest action against the worldwide erosion of democratic values. The work “Queering Christmas” questions the white, heterosexual, male, and colonial view of Christmas. My work “Doppelte Anschlussfähigkeit” deals with the theme of colonization in Oriental photography. Here is an overview of my works that focus on protest.
